Pight Walkthrough: Levels 21–30
Sticky clusters, hard blocks, and your first portal puzzles.
Levels 21 through 30 mark the mid-campaign shift in Pight. You finished the pull-piston band in Walkthrough: Levels 11–20, and Mindlabor now expects you to manage sticky adhesion, immovable hard blocks, and early portal setups in the same grid. The light block goal never changes—only the number of moving parts does.
This guide avoids click-by-click spoilers. Instead it explains what each level band teaches, where players stall, and which wiki articles to open when a color or symbol confuses you.
What unlocks in levels 21–30
| Level band | New pressure | Read next |
|---|---|---|
| 21–23 | Sticky blocks bond on contact | Sticky Blocks & Portals |
| 24–26 | Hard blocks anchor the maze | Block Types |
| 27–28 | Portals replace one-way pushes | Sticky + portal combo section below |
| 29–30 | Mixed mechanics same board | Mechanics Tier List |
Difficulty background colors shift on updated builds—brighter hues often signal higher mechanical load. If a stage looks visually busy, slow down before placing anything.
Sticky cluster tactics (21–26)
Sticky blocks move as one rigid shape once they touch. The mistake at this tier is treating them like loose cubes.
- Decide cluster size early. One big blob is harder to rotate through tight corridors but easier to push long distances.
- Pull pistons reposition clusters. A pull facing the sticky group often sets up the final push better than another extend cycle.
- Hard blocks are landmarks. When a sticky piece glues to a hard tile, that cluster may never split—plan routes assuming it stays put.
- Undo after every portal test. Portals are not fully dominant yet, but sticky + partial portal setups appear in late twenties.
The Soulmates achievement rewards keeping a sticky pair attached through a solution—levels 21–30 are where that habit forms naturally.
Portal introduction (27–30)
Portals replaced rails in the demo rework. They teleport blocks between paired tiles with orientation rules that are easy to misread when the board is crowded.
Workflow that saves time:
- Identify portal pairs before placing pistons.
- Run a single-block test through the entrance with undo ready.
- Confirm exit facing matches the next piston line.
- Only then attach stickies or add dynamite (preview only—full dynamite band starts later).
If the light block enters a portal accidentally, undo immediately. Late-game puzzles punish wrong portal order; mid-game teaches the habit.
Common walls at 28–30
Players who breezed through level 20 often stall here because three systems interact:
- A sticky cluster must split or merge at the right moment.
- A hard block blocks a direct push lane.
- A portal short-cuts a path you already built.
When stuck, open Stuck on Hard Levels and run the five-minute debug loop. Re-read Piston Mechanics if pull chains feel wrong—pull timing still matters inside portal exits.
Demo vs full game
The Steam demo ends at level 15. Levels 21–30 exist only in the full ninety-level release (app 2682270). Demo graduates should upgrade via Demo vs Full Game before expecting this content.
Mobile builds on Google Play and App Store include the full campaign with the same level order as Steam.
Suggested prep checklist
- Controls — undo and reset muscle memory.
- Sticky Blocks & Portals — full adhesion and portal rules.
- Block Types — color reference.
- Puzzle Planning Checklist — write move order for level 29+.
After level 30
Dynamite and heavier portal chains dominate Walkthrough: Levels 31–40. Electricity appears later—do not worry about powered tiles yet. If portals still feel opaque, replay one solved level 27 puzzle with undo to watch each teleport frame.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Are levels 21–30 in the demo?
No. The demo stops at level 15. Levels 21–30 require the full Steam or mobile release.
Which mechanic appears first in this band?
Sticky blocks lead the band, followed by hard blocks and then portals around levels 27–30.
Why do backgrounds look brighter?
Mindlabor uses background color to hint difficulty tier after the demo visual rework.
Do portals work like Minecraft nether portals?
They pair entrance and exit tiles on the same board with orientation rules—see the sticky and portals guide.
What should I read if I stall at level 29?
Open Stuck on Hard Levels, then re-read sticky blocks and portal pairing before hunting spoilers.
